I am having fun exploring the integration of cold wax, oil and encaustic painting into my mosaic work. Sometimes combining both techniques into one mosaic piece!

In “Moon Lit” I carved out a channel in the substrate and inlaid a mosaic. This exploration had an interesting effect which holds promise for future work.
