From the Studio 2015: Bart Stuyf

Another year at Mussel Point, and it’s hard to think of much beyond the snow. The ocean keeps disappearing behind a wall of white, and when it clears there are all sorts of surprises. Most recently a flock (or is it a marathon?) of roadrunners appeared, each one with its own personality. And the biggest surprise for this climate, is a lovely elephant who has all of Bart’s characteristic whimsy.

All of these creatures came from customers’ requests and that seems to be the most enjoyable way for Bart to work. He loves the challenge that comes from someone asking, “Could you make a . . .?” If you have any requests or are just curious to see if you can stump him, please come by for a visit. Or come by to see some of our traditional inhabitants. The fish, fountains, birds, octopuses, and frogs still abound, although some of them are hibernating under the snow.
