In my studio by the ocean you will find paintings and colorful, timeless jewelry, as well as tables, birdbaths, and other items enhanced by rich mosaic design.
I was brought up in the Boston area and often went fishing with my father in his small boat. This left me with a deep love of the sea. Later on I became an artist and was lucky enough to find myself living in a house by the ocean in Lanesville, a small community in Gloucester. Granite is everywhere here: in the quarries, in the ubiquitous stone walls, and in our yards. I love the look and texture of these local stones and enjoy using them in my artwork.
Recently I have been working on two different projects. The first is a series of small paintings of local birds. Secondly, I have been putting glass mosaic design on granite to create birdbaths and fanciful rocks for your garden or anywhere else in your yard.
