Each piece is one-of-a-kind. The sea glass is unaltered and used in innovative ways to create contemporary looks while preserving the natural character of the materials. John creates art from recycled glass, mostly bottles and mirrors but also old windows and plate glass. John focuses on translucence, shadows, reflections, textures and transparency using a limited palette. He plays with shapes, slumping and fusing the glass, working with a kiln, a wet saw and hand tools. Commissions welcome.
