Jacqueline is celebrating her 22th year making sea glass wearable art! Join her in her studio overlooking the Annisquam River housing 30 years’ worth of sea treasures and a diverse collection of distinctive hair accessories, jewelry, garden stepping stones and sculpture. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. The sea glass is unaltered and used in innovative ways to create contemporary looks while preserving the natural character of the materials. John captures the beauty that each season brings along with the magic light that exists on Cape Ann through his photography. He particularly enjoys photographing during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset and also is drawn to images where nature and man made elements meet. Photography for John is all about capturing a moment in time which may never be repeated.

Art composed of textiles is my focus. Some of the works you’ll see here take inspiration from traditional quilt patterns while others depart significantly from the symmetry and color palette one might expect from a quilt…

Come to my studio at the top of Annisquam village for useful and functional pottery and home goods. My eating bowls, plates, platters, small dishes and mugs are glazed in the colors of the ocean. I hand print dishtowels and create other textile products inspired by nature and the seashore.

John creates art from recycled glass, mostly bottles and mirrors but also old windows and plate glass. John focuses on translucence, shadows, reflections, textures and transparency using a limited palette. He plays with shapes, slumping and fusing the glass, working with a kiln, a wet saw and hand tools. Commissions welcome.

Explore Pam’s beautiful garden and Mosaic studio. Around the Koi pond you will discover mosaic garden sculptures, a 4’ x 6’ Pond Mosaic and a 13’ tall tree sculpture with mosaic inserts. In the studio you will find mosaic jewelry, eco printed silk scarves, functional and fine art mosaics. Classes are offered year-round.

Rob explores stories of figures at the ocean’s edge in his contemporary oils and watercolors, revealing the Cape Ann coast in a different light: luminous, peaceful, subtle, and surprising.

Cindy Efinger creates treasures in several forms: mosaics made of glass, tiles and or crockery shards. Her inventions adorn gardens front yards, tables and some hang on walls or in windows. She also sculpts wood and incorporates her mosaics into her sculpted pieces.

Jane creates clothing, accessories and art in her East Gloucester studio. Her connection to nature and traditional techniques is evident in her work: indigo shibori, natural dyeing, ecoprinting and cyanotype. Come see Jane at work demonstrating some of these techniques.

Watercolor Artist, Kathryn Roberts, a native of Gloucester, enjoys painting local landmarks. Her work echoes contemporary realism, with splashes of vibrant colors and translucent washes depicting local beaches, ocean waves & lighthouses on Cape Ann. She strives to bring joy, hope and emotional connections to viewers through her art.
