Watercolor Artist, Kathryn Roberts, a native of Gloucester, enjoys painting local landmarks, historical themes and linking people with their favorite places and things. Her paintings echo contemporary realism, with splashes of vibrant colors and translucent washes depicting local beaches, boulevards, lighthouses & Schooners on Cape Ann & Maine. She strives to bring joy, hope and emotional connections to her viewers through her art. She looks to capture a person’s memories of a special place or time in their lives and convey that emotion in a painting. The Cape Ann Art Gallery is located in her welcoming home studio displaying an array of paintings, prints & notecards.
