Danette works in her studio in the village of Lanesville. Her work in clay is both functional and sculptural, exploring the interaction of form, surface and color. Her sculptural vessels are an investigation of themes that relate to the human figure and the deconstruction of traditional forms. Her other work, thrown on the wheel, is inspired by radial design and floral imagery utilizing pattern and color.
