I have always loved objects that are made by hand which have the mark of the maker on them. I bring this idea to life by hand building most of my work, each object made with a sense of its own personality and joy. Whether a bowl with a distinctive shape or a mug that feels just right, I make objects that are not only useful, but that I personally would like to use. I glaze my pots in the colors of the ocean and nature. Nature also informs my textile art, including my hand printed dish towels and other items for home and kitchen.
