Explore Pam’s beautiful garden and Mosaic studio. Outside tucked around the Koi pond you will discover granite garden sculptures, a 4‘ x 6’ Pond Mosaic and a 13′ carved tree with mosaic inserts. In her modern work, she uses the ancient traditional tools of hammer and hardie to cut the materials. She selects themes from the simple surprises in nature’s beauty, the way sunlight spotlights a shape, the ripple of water in a pond, or the amazing patterns left in the sand from the outgoing tide. She relishes the exploration of materials and new techniques. She is never tired of experimenting and is currently incorporating tissue paper and reed, encaustic wax and eco printing in some of her mosaics, silk scarves and sculptures. Her work ranges from large mosaics inserted in trees to intricate mosaic jewelry. Classes offered year round.
Pam is a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists, The Rockport Art Association & Museum, North Shore Arts and the Rocky Neck Art Colony. Her work has been shown at exhibits in the Somerville Museum, the Chicago Mosaic School, the Rockport Art Association, the Museum of Man in San Diego, CA. and the Parthenon Museum in TN. Her work has been published in the international magazine, Mosaic Art Now, and in North Shore Magazine.
