From the Studio 2015: Judith Wright

In Judith’s studio by the ocean you will find paintings and colorful, timeless jewelry, as well as tables, birdbaths, and other items enhanced by rich mosaic design.

Judith was brought up in the Boston area and had the opportunity to go out fishing with her father in his small boat. One of the results was that she developed a deep love for the sea. Later on she became an artist and was lucky enough to find herself living in a house by the ocean in Lanesville, a small community in Gloucester. The colors around her influence all her work.

“Recently I have been working on two different projects”, she said. “The first is a series of small paintings of local birds. Secondly, I have been putting glass mosaic design on granite to create birdbaths and fanciful rocks for your garden or anywhere else in your yard. I love the look and texture of these beautiful local stones and enjoy using them in my artwork.”
