Hello and welcome to my studio where I create eco friendly, recycled glass art. I am looking forward to my first season with the Cape Ann Artisans.
My process is simple. I make shapes and then put them together. I use a kiln, a glass cutter and a wet saw. Most of my shapes come from bottles saved by friends and recycled. I’m just an old primate pushing shapes around on a workbench. I’m frugal and eco friendly. Everything I use is recycled.
People like selfies. After playing with glass for 45 years I realized that if my glass includes mirrors people will see themselves in it. They will be interested, perhaps pleased, and may even buy it. So a lot of what I do now involves mirrors. Appeals to our neighborhood email list produce interesting mirrors.
