In the past several months, I have had the opportunity to visit and photograph the Smoky Mountains along with continuing to expand on my landscape and wildlife photography on Cape Ann and New England.
I am very happy to announce my photo “Early Morning Light on a Country Road” was awarded the Jacki Harrington Memorial Award at the Rockport Art Association’s recent summer show. This award is given for a work of art that best expresses the essence and beauty of nature in photography.
I also attended an astrophotography workshop on Cape Cod where I was able to photograph the Milky Way.
I have been continuing with my wildlife photography and have a number of images of birds with their babies to include loons, blue herons, night herons and egrets. The highlight was photographing a baby loon and swan each traveling on their mother’s back!
