Spring is almost here! And with it comes new hope for a return to some type of normal. I spent the winter painting and have produced quite a few new watercolors. I’ve tried working in a smaller, square format, hoping to offer something that will easily be placed on a wall and affordably priced. Painting for me has been a great escape from the pandemic. It’s an opportunity to focus on something beautiful, and share it with others in the hopes it will lift their spirits as well. It’s been a challenging year.
I’m happy to share some very exciting news: I’ll be the featured artist at the Beauport Hotel Artist in Residency series, from May 10-14th. I will also have a solo show of my work at BankGloucester, hanging from April 3-June 8. Between these two shows and the CAA Spring Tour, I’m excited to have a chance for in-person exhibiting and viewing on Cape Ann!
