Chloe handcrafted fine jewelry studio focuses around everyday wear with a sophisticated and delicate style. She continues to be inspired by circular foams, a warm palate, and the sense of balance that she experiences in her coastal environment. Chloe creates each piece individually by hand using a variety of hammers, anvils, hand tools, and torches. She uses the highest quality tarnish resistant silver, argentium silver & 18K gold, along with personally sourced gems to create memorable and timeless jewelry.

This past winter Chloe showcased her work at the Rockport Makers Festival and at the Mass Art Alum Show. Chloe loved displaying her work at local events and talking to everyone about her recent creations! Q & A with Chloe

What is your most impactful experience this past year?

Chloe: “I walked the Camino de Santiago this past summer. It was a very meaningful journey, walking 560+ miles from France across Spain to the Atlantic Coast. It helped me put things in perspective and understand balance in life. As a young entrepreneur and fine artist, I am trying to find my path and always working late hours to build my jewelry business. The Camino was a great time for reflection and it allowed me ‘let go of expectations.’ It gave me a fresh perspective when I returned to my jewelers bench and gave me that little extra push!”

When your creative juices are low- what do you do to reenergize your spirit?

Chloe: “I always am working on multiple projects at the same time, so there is always something to do! When I am looking for fresh ideas, I grab my notebook filled with thoughts and sketches. I find a lot of my inspiration on early runs in the morning. I can’t wait to share them with you!”

Do you have new work that you can’t wait to share at this year’s studio tour?

Chloe: “I am hoping I will! Things take time in metal. I have plans to make a few new prototypes of some of my ideas/sketches I have and from there I will see what new pieces I want to add to my line of jewelry. After designing, it will be ‘tap, tap, tap’ in the studio creating my new designs. I have plans for a locket, a necklace to go with my Tidal Pool Studs, and hoops. I am also working on sourcing some beautiful salt and pepper diamonds… very excited to introduce these into my work. There is also talk about an 18K Gold Vermeil jewelry line. Get ready 2020!”

Besides your Jewelry- What are your other creative outlets and what is particularly exciting for you?

Chloe: “I love organizing and interior design! I enjoy staging a place with different textures, materials, and colors. It is an incredible feeling to decorate a space and evoke a certain feeling or atmosphere.  I have a background in painting and photography, so I gather some of my inspirations from these outlets.  Currently, I use my interest in interior design by trying to create a product that evokes a specific feeling or mood. I enjoy playing with my jewelry packaging, display components, website design, and product shots, which showcase my jewelry as “Fresh. Simple. Balanced. Sophisticated.”

Are you excited for the 2020 Studio Tour?

Chloe: “Yes! I cannot wait to meet everyone and share my process with you. Get ready for lots of shinny things and timeless jewelry!”
