Not exactly business as Usual

 – but the Cape Ann Artisans are here!

As we embrace the warmer weather, it usually means that the Spring Tour is in the air.  Like so many other “events,” sadly we have had to cancel to ensure the safety of each of us and you.

However, many of us can and would like to make accommodations to see you soon – whether you are our neighbors or visiting Cape Ann from out of the area.  Here’s how:

  • Call an individual artisan and make an appointment to find out where and when to see the work.  All Artisans’ contact information is listed here.   You can also look for our new rack card at the Cape Ann Chamber and at open tourist venues.
  • Check the SHOPPING PAGE on the CAA website for online galleries.
  • Save these dates| July 18th and August 15th for a select number of studio visits with safety measures in place.  Requiring masks, limited numbers of visitors at a time, and outdoor set ups where possible will be among the measures in place.  Details to be announced in the next newsletter.

A shout out to our NEW Cape Ann Artisans! We welcomed three new members this year.  Please join us in a round of applause for Chloe Leigh, fine jeweler, Linda Hogan, quilter and Jillian Demeri, painter.

We would also like to take this opportunity to THANK all our supporters and partners who have graciously waited out the spring season with us.   Our partners are working to keep our community safe and prosperous as they adapt to our new circumstances and rules.  Many are offering take-out and finding creative ways to adapt. See Discover Gloucester and the Cape Ann Chamber for a full list of all Cape Ann tourism updates.
